Artist's Comments

My first pixel art, besides a tutorial which got me used to perspective etc. I drew it in mspaint.

I am aware that no PCs actually look like this one, but I don't really care =P The main focus is definitely the screen, and the rest is just to go with it. I couldn't draw a good base for the monitor, so I just attached it to the computer. I suppose in reality it could click and off :) I also wasn't very good at the mouse or keyboard, so I just left them out.

For the screen I used a screenshot of the classic Windows XP 'Bliss' wallpaper and drew it, along with the start button, taskbar and shortcuts down the side. Then I just carried on until I had the rest of the PC and the speakers :) To finish off I gave it the borders at the top and bottom. I know the lighting isn't great, and I might play with it later if I can be bothered with it.

Very skillful and despite its lack of resemblance to real computers very realistic. I like it. :D Now maybe something more ambitious?
